Our Philosophy On Learning
In a caring and positive environment, we offer a warm and happy place for toddlers and preschoolers to learn. We try to guide children to build and maintain a healthy self-esteem while developing intellectual and social skills in a school setting.
Based on the theory that children learn by doing, classroom practices encourage active involvement and meaningful experimentation by conducting in depth studies about real world topics. Youngsters learn through investigation, observation and discussion. They are encouraged to represent their knowledge and ideas in diverse ways.
Project work and systematic instruction provide complimentary learning opportunities. Schedules are designed to balance structure and free choice, as well as active and quiet times.
We value the active involvement of parents in our program, both through committee and classroom participation. Parents may gain valuable insights and techniques from the expertise of the staff; and, at the same time, share their own talents, interests and knowledge to broaden the learning experiences of our students. School then becomes a shared adventure that will hopefully continue throughout each child’s educational process.
We know how important your children are, and we will try to make their first learning experiences at school meaningful and memorable.
Yours truly,
