Many changes have taken place in the world since technology became one of the most enriching resources in education. Working in technology for so many years has allowed me to witness a transformation in education and the way it has impacted our learning experiences.
This journey has been both challenging and rewarding. It has taken me from the floppy disk, diverse CD-ROM software, and conducting research on the Internet, up to this point, where I am designing digital environments to support and enhance student learning.
This part of my trip has given me the opportunity to open a path where children awake their natural curiosity in a more meaningful way, where collaboration is promoted, and where they can participate, experiencing a feeling of accomplishment and success while developing a different hypothesis.
The diverse digital environments also encourage “gamification,” which is a powerful skill of interactive learning in which children learn to depend on and trust each other while playing or participating.
One of the most important benefits of working in digital environments is that they offer the opportunity to learn collaboratively alongside students.
I am proud of what I have accomplished throughout these years, but I am certain that there is still a long way ahead to further my learning!
