REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL STUDENTS

Please be prepared for our enrollment process timeline with the necessary documents, fees, and scheduling of your child’s entry exam.

All parents and students must

  • Complete and submit the Student Admission Application Form, following your inquiry.  
  • Attend an information session.
  • Submit all required documents (see documents 1–7 in the "Other Documents" section). 
  • Schedule the entrance exam with the Admissions Department (from Kinder onward). 
  • Pay the entrance exam fee of MXN2,550.00 via a check made out to Eton, S.C., a credit or debit card, or a wire transfer. 
  • Upon receiving an admissions offer, within five business days, provide additional documents as indicated, pay the enrollment fees, and sign a letter verifying your child’s name and grade.

REPORT CARDS
Please collect and prepare the required report cards, given your child’s age and current school’s location, as indicated.

Parents must submit ...

For students enrolled in a school in Mexico:

  • Early Childhood and Elementary students: copies of the official SEP report cards from the two previous school years, along with any school-issued report cards available from the current school year. For Elementary students who don’t have their official report cards, please provide the SIIEP or SIIES certification.
  • Middle School and High School students: copies of the official SEP/UNAM report cards from 6th grade to the current school year.

For students enrolled abroad:

  • Early Childhood and Elementary students: report cards issued by the school they’re attending from the two previous school years and any available from the current school year.
  • Middle School and High School students: report cards issued by the school they’re attending from 6th grade to the current school year.

OTHER DOCUMENTS
Before your child takes the entrance exam, parents must send scanned copies of the following documents, numbered as listed, to admissions@eton.edu.mx in one email per child.
OTHER DOCUMENTS

Please collect or prepare:

  1. A recommendation letter from an Eton family (if you know any).
  2. A copy of the student’s birth certificate. (Foreign students’ birth certificates must be translated into Spanish by an official translator, then legalized or certified with an apostille. Please verify that the student’s name is spelled correctly.)
  3. One recent infantil-size photograph of the student.
  4. Report cards (see specific requirements).
  5. A certificate of good conduct issued by the student’s current school (from Pre-First onward).
  6. A statement of good economic standing issued by the student’s current school.
  7. A copy of the student’s Unique Population Record Number (CURP) printed from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Secretaría de Gobernación) website. International students must provide it as soon as they receive their visa (FM).
  • After submitting the documents above, you will be asked to submit teacher recommendation forms (for Elementary, Middle School, and High School).
  • Middle School and High School students will also submit an essay form.

AGE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

NURSERY–1ST GRADE
NURSERY TO 1ST GRADE

The child must

  • have the minimum age indicated by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) to be admitted into their desired grade. (Parents must submit any completion certificates from previous grades, if applicable).
  • not wear diapers anymore (to be admitted into Pre-Kinder).
  • have knowledge of English (to be admitted into 1st grade).
  • attend an entrance exam session (for Kinder, Pre-First, and 1st grade).

The student must have appropriate command of English for their grade.

The Admissions Team will call you 5 to 10 business days after your child’s entrance exam to give you the results. If the student is admitted and a spot is available, you’ll be invited to proceed with the enrollment process. If there are no vacant spots at that time, we will let you know if a spot becomes available by the third week of March.

The student must

  • have a minimum grade point average of 8.0 and no failing grades.
  • have a full command of English.

The Admissions Team will call you 5 to 10 business days after your child’s entrance exam to give you the results. If the student is admitted and a spot is available, you’ll be invited to proceed with the enrollment process. If there are no vacant spots at that time, we will let you know if a spot becomes available by the third week of March.
