A Day in Elementary
Approaches to Teaching & Learning
Our Elementary program consists of an interdisciplinary curriculum taught both in English and Spanish.
Inquiry-based learning and the acquisition of solid academic skills are emphasized so students are able to continue developing their growing intellect and acquiring strong foundations that will enable them to achieve academic success.
Both first-hand experiences and the use of technology are intertwined into our curriculum so that children are able to learn through a wide variety of experiences and media.
Students are encouraged to represent their understanding in diverse ways.
In Elementary, we continue fostering social and emotional well-being as we help our students develop the abilities and awareness they need to achieve inner balance and establish harmonious relationships.
Students are encouraged to develop their interests and talents.
Student progress is monitored to assess individual growth and to successfully meet national and international standards.
