IMMERSED WITHIN OUR NATURAL, STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT

Across our three campus buildings, all our spaces’ construction and arrangement support our students’ activities, discussions, inquiry, and research beyond what they know—as they recreate their knowledge using their own unique toolboxes of skills, strategies, and techniques.

Our teachers delight in provoking our students through outstanding learning experiences. Every space is adaptable to the day’s lessons or goals and customizable to the group’s interests—prepared to enable one-of-a-kind experiences.

OUR SANTA FE CAMPUS

Embedded within the modern Santa Fe district of Mexico City, our campus for Elementary, Middle, and High School spans 17,500 m2. Our facilities include a newly refurbished computer lab with Apple desktops; science labs supporting the exciting experiments of biology, physics, and chemistry; and our well-illuminated, multifunctional common space with couches for reading, relaxing, or studying before our vibrant garden.

EQUIPPED FOR CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION

As favorite, stand-out spaces on campus, our spectacular art rooms have fantastically large windows illuminating a view of Mexico City’s landscape—inspiring our young artists from the Elementary years onward to express themselves and create original work within this space.

For the advanced projects of our Middle and High School students, our brand-new, state-of-the-art makerspace is another notable place of invention and construction. It can be used for any class’s project or activities, hosting several worktables and purposeful stations, where students can learn by doing. The spaces are stocked with power tools, a laser-cutter, a 3D printer, and circuit boards for programing models and robots.

PREPARED FOR COLLABORATIVE LEARNING

Our Information and Resource Center (IRC) includes several different spaces. Some distinctive features include a storytelling room for our elementary students, an expansive library of books for reading and research, collaborative workspaces for one-on-one sessions with teachers or peers, chessboards for strategic playtime at recess, and additional computers.

These spaces allow our students interact with each other, share knowledge, and collaborate on projects. In this way, the IRC also acts as a prominent venue where students can share their knowledge with the community—through school-curated exhibits and by displaying their projects.

OUR TODDLER CENTER AND PRESCHOOL

Lomas de Chapultepec is home to our Toddler Center (for Nursery and Pre-Kinder levels) and Preschool (for Kinder and Pre-First levels). Each building has been made for age-appropriate and differentiated activities for small groups of our youngest learners. These campuses especially stand out for their creative spaces for exploration, art, and music.

Each building houses a library, where our Early Childhood students become more experienced in reading and comfortable in developing their love of learning through storytelling.

INTERACTIVE SPACES FOR STIMULATING CREATIVITY AND ALL FIVE SENSES

The sensory exploration space at our Toddler Center is designed for stimulating all five senses by exploring different environments—via colors, shapes, smells, textures, and more—while our Preschool also has exploration and construction rooms for very tactile and sensory activities. Here, whether students are making perfume from flowers or models of an ecosystem from recycled materials, they’re learning how to represent their knowledge in a variety of media.

Our art room also allows for great exploration and freedom, as the room’s walls are frequently covered with papers or other materials for our young students to paint and draw on—flowing into their creative expression.

IMAGINATIVE AND IMMERSIVE PLAY SPACES

Our Toddler Center Playroom includes six projectors, which our teachers use to project different images for our students to immerse within—based on the places or topics they’re discovering. For example, whether the students are learning about the ocean or the mountains, our teachers also adaptably arrange the play space with fabric, tools, boxes, or other objects to make their students’ imaginations come alive.

Meanwhile, our Preschool houses our “Digital Experience Tent” for interactive, digital learning activities and a wooden playground, integrated to the garden. This playground also includes projectors that our teachers use to immerse our students in images, helping them build their own stories, understanding, and curiosity in this dynamic play space.
